Agfa expands portfolio by launching Jeti Titan S and HS

Agfa has expanded its Jeti Titan range of UV-curable wide-format printers with a new flatbed UV inkjet device, the Jeti Titan S and HS.

Both the S (speed) and the HS (high speed) models are fitted with the 1,280-nozzle Ricoh Gen 5 inkjet printheads. The S model incorporates one row as standard and is field-upgradeable to two rows to create the HS model, doubling productivity.

According to Agfa, the portfolio expansion, which deliver a 7-picolitre droplet-size, sets a new standard for print quality and productivity. The models can deliver resolutions of 720x1,200dpi with a print speed of 160sqm per hour. Mimaki announces an upgrade in its JV33

Mimaki has announced an update to its JV33 wide-format inkjet printer, allowing faster printing without any compromise on quality.

It is available free to all current JV33 owners and will be included as standard with new installs for no added cost.

The firmware upgrade, complemented by downloadable software, consists of Mimaki’s Advanced Pass System (MAPS) technology, which alters the way ink is laid down.

Screen-print press manufacturer Thieme has announced the upcoming launch of the Thieme 3000 D, its first digital device to have been developed completely in-house.

Colorific has launched solvent UV hybrid print and cut machine

Colorific announces the launch of its first wide-format print-and-cut machine, the UV640PC. IFS to debut flagship Horizon trimmer at Ipex


Intelligent Finishing Systems (IFS) is to use next March’s Ipex as the springboard for the “zero makeready” Horizon HT-1000V variable three-knife trimmer, which it said was suitable for “runs of one to runs of thousands”.
According to IFS, the HT-1000V was developed chiefly to go inline with perfect binding lines, either from Horizon or the likes of Muller Martini and Kolbus.

    The first ever 3D printing conference cum exhibition ‘3D Print UAE’ took place on 17th and 18th August 2015 at Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE which attracted a number of like-minded 3D Printing professionals from over 40 nations.

    3D Print UAE exhibition cum conference is a concept aimed at providing a broad scale platform for the manufacturing sector and consumer world across the ME region. 

    3D Print UAE gave an opportunity for the additive manufacturing experts from across the globe to converge on this regional platform to showcase their solutions, analyze the benefits and discuss the opportunities in the Middle East. It also provided the opportunity for a listen- in to first-hand experience from industry leaders, connect solutions for overcoming challenges in the field, and enhance the brand and  business portfolio.
