Duplo unveils its new Booklet System for high volume prints

Duplo has launched a new  booklet maker, the 600i Booklet System.  The manufacturer said key markets for the system are high-volume digital and litho production, with commercial printers, education, public and private sector and processing industries being actively targeted.

According to the manufacturer, the  600i is a fully automated stitching, folding and trimming device that uses ultra sonic technology combining the DSC-10/60i Collator Towers and the DBM-600 bookletmaker and trimmer.

It has more than 25 configurations that can combine suction, collators, sheet feeders and slit, cut, crease, squarefold and three-knife trimming operations. The device is a replacement for the 500i Booklet System, which was introduced 12 years ago and

Nilpeter to deliver 3 FA-4 presses with new hybrid UV-curing System

Nilpeter is set to become the first press manufacturer to install GEW’s new ArcLED hybrid UV curing system onto its existing machines and has also revealed more details about its Panorama DP-3 UV inkjet digital press line.

The ArcLED hybrid UV curing system will be installed on three of the company’s FA-4* UV-flexo presses, which are designed for high productivity of pressure-sensitive labels and flexible packaging.

EFI confident of $ 1 bn sales target next year after strong Q2s

EFI has posted strong second-quarter results with chief executive Guy Gecht stating that the business is on track to achieve to its $1bn  sales target by 2016 following the acquisitions of Reggiani Macchine and Matan earlier this month.

Total sales grew 5% year-on-year to $202.7m from $193m in Q2 2014, with across the board year-on-year growth in its Industrial Inkjet, Productivity Software and Fiery divisions of 2%, 10% and 7% respectively.

    The first ever 3D printing conference cum exhibition ‘3D Print UAE’ took place on 17th and 18th August 2015 at Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE which attracted a number of like-minded 3D Printing professionals from over 40 nations.

    3D Print UAE exhibition cum conference is a concept aimed at providing a broad scale platform for the manufacturing sector and consumer world across the ME region. 

    3D Print UAE gave an opportunity for the additive manufacturing experts from across the globe to converge on this regional platform to showcase their solutions, analyze the benefits and discuss the opportunities in the Middle East.
