Durst shows upgrades to LFP’s at Fespa

Durst presented new products in its large format printing portfolio at FESPA Digital 2017.  The company presented its Rho P10 250 HS Plus and Rho 512R Plus printing systems under the slogan of investment security and reliability with a “plus” in productivity and economy with new features and enhancements including extended warranty periods and new virtual support and analytics functions.  
The Rho WT 250 is a new flatbed printing system featuring Durst’s Water Technology for environmentally friendly applications on paper media, corrugated boards, and plastics such as acrylic, polycarbonate, and polypropylene. It provides ‘offset printing quality’ in look and feel and is economically viable from a batch size of 1.

Agfa publishes year-end results, delivers mixed results for 2016

Agfa-Gevaert has posted mixed results for 2016; the group saw a 4.1% drop in revenue but a 1.7% jump in gross profit and a recurring Ebitda margin above 10% of revenue.
For the full year to December 2016 the group recorded revenue of €2.54bn, down from the €2.65bn recorded in 2015.
Recurring Ebitda – the sum of the Graphics, Healthcare, and Specialty Products divisions as well as the unallocated portion – improved from 9.1% of revenue in 2015 to 10.4% in 2016.

InkTec announces Jetrix LXi8 UV-LED flatbed printer details

Inkjet ink and printer manufacturer InkTec will unveil its new 3.2m Jetrix LXi8 LED-UV flatbed printer at Sign & Digital show in UK.
The new high-speed device is a step into the volume production market for the traditionally entry- and mid-level machine manufacturer with the hope that it will become InkTec’s flagship printer.

    The first ever 3D printing conference cum exhibition ‘3D Print UAE’ took place on 17th and 18th August 2015 at Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE which attracted a number of like-minded 3D Printing professionals from over 40 nations.

    3D Print UAE exhibition cum conference is a concept aimed at providing a broad scale platform for the manufacturing sector and consumer world across the ME region. 

    3D Print UAE gave an opportunity for the additive manufacturing experts from across the globe to converge on this regional platform to showcase their solutions, analyze the benefits and discuss the opportunities in the Middle East. It also provided the opportunity for a listen- in to first-hand experience from industry leaders, connect solutions for overcoming challenges in the field, and enhance the brand and  business portfolio.
