Dubai-based Color Mix is one of a select group of international companies to have won an award at the recent MACtac Worldwide Award ceremony in Dubai, UAE.
The company won in the Vehicle Graphics category.

“I am happy with the award,” said Color Mix owner, Nabeel Ali. “The recognition helps a lot in terms of the market at the moment. It is good to be recognised as one of the best.”

He said he was proud of their winning entry - an image of bottles printed onto the side of a vehicle that appeared to have its sides peeled away to reveal the tops of the bottles.

“When you see the 3D printed vehicle in the streets, it is really eye catching,” said Ali.
He said the print was done with Jeti printing machines.

According to Ali, their indoor machines can print up to 5ft wide. Their outdoor machines can print up to a 5m width.

“We have also added one of the best high frequency seaming machines to our lineup, (but) our main asset is our employees. Our staff consists of highly talented and well experienced design engineers and technicians,” he said.

The awards were set up in 1998 and are open to anyone involved in sign creation - from concept to production. Applicators, printers, converters, advertising agencies, studios and end-users from around the globe are invited to submit projects which  utilises  MACtac products.
