Dantex announced a new distributor agreement for the MEA region with Dubai-based Afra International DMCC. The move represents expansion of the group’s new digital division.

Commenting on the partnership, Afra International’s general manager, Vinay Krishnan, said: “In providing both short and long runs, as well as being able to work with conventional label stock, Dantex’s UV inkjet solutions are the perfect fit for printers in the MEA region. As a complete digital solution, both the PicoColour and PicoJet are easy to operate, unlike conventional flexo solutions. We are currently engaged in intensive marketing activities throughout our region to promote the Pico range and the responses we are getting are highly encouraging, even from far flung areas of Africa.”

“We have found the whole learning process with Dantex very effective and well organised. We very much look forward developing our partnership further.”

“This agreement, as part of our global digital strategy in creating distributor partnerships in key regions, demonstrates our confidence to push the division and drive the digital business forward,” said Simon Cosh, digital business development manager for the Pico range. “Afra International is a great business to work with - we have already trained their engineers and held a number of successful demonstrations.”
