Scientists at Qatar University are testing 3D-printed      models of football stadiums that Qatar is building for the 2022 World Cup to see if   they can endure the state’s desert climate.

Qatar has sought to allay concerns about its summer heat and moved the competition to the cooler month of November. It also announced details of five stadiums with built-in air conditioning. But Qatar still experiences sand and dust storms in winter months.

HP unveils entry level, flatbed Scitex 9000 industrial press

HP has unveiled an entry-level Scitex industrial flatbed and a new inkset at Fespa Digital targeted at mid-level sign and display printers or established outdoor printers looking to move into point-of-sale. The new Scitex 9000 Industrial Press essentially uses the same chassis, HDR 300 printheads, bed size and High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology as the Scitex 11000, but with less automation and a significantly lower price point.
