TechNova Imaging Systems showcased their range of total imaging solutions at their stand 1C16 in Hall 01 at Gulf Print & Pack 2019.

Speaking about the company, Deepak Chawla, from TechNova, said, “

Speaking about the new products launched at Gulf Print & Pack, Gopi mentioned “During the show, we launched our water-based & UV coatings, new range of digital plates, the high-speed thermal plate setter and a range of post-print solutions. One of the star products at our stand was the ThermoStar T9 HS Thermal platesetter. This platesetter can be upgraded to 10000dpi and is fully capable of imaging lenticulars. The speed is up to 40 plates 8-up per hour and can go up to 45 plates depending on plate sizes.”

Elaborating on the Go Green initiatives of TechNova that were quite evident on its elegantly designed stand at Gulf Print & Pack 2019, Chawla states “TechNova has been the pioneer of the Go Green Mission in the Indian print industry. For TechNova ‘Go green’ movement is a value-system, a philosophy, not related to just one product, but our entire approach across solutions to create a cleaner, greener press of the future.  On asking his views on the printing industry in the Middle East, Gopi Menon said “The challenge in the Commercial printing segment is surplus capacity. My concern is that the same should not happen in the packaging segment too as we see every printer making his foray in this segment. However, i am quite hopeful that this situation will improve soon. The packaging industry is very vast and the companies have to focus on their core competence and excel in it rather than entering into all areas. Currently, there is some sluggishness in the market but i believe this will change soon as we approach the Dubai Expo 2020. The correction is happening in the market and it is good for the industry.”

Adding to the above, Chawla stated: “When capacities surpass the demand, companies have to add value to their existing offering to remain relevant.
