The inaugural Print Pack Arabia 2014,  jointly organised by Expo Centre Sharjah and the Indian Printing, Packaging and Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA) showcased latest printing and packaging technologies.

Inaugurated by Sheikh Mohammad Bin Saud Bin Sultan Al Qassimi, chairman of Sharjah Department of Central Finance and Indrajit Pal, secretary of DCPC, the show witnessed presence of less but indeed decision maker footfalls. The show was held at Sharjah Expo Center between 7th to 11th April 2014, along with the biennial Plastivision Arabia and Arabia Mold. From a total of 250 exhibitors for all three shows, Print Pack hosted 88 exhibitors.

Printing and Packaging show displayed presence of less but serious decision makers.

Global and regional names such as AFRA International FZC, Al Mahir, Arets Toyo Inks, Multi System Technologies, Jacky’s,  Alliance Printech, APL Machineries, Five Star Machineries, Welbound, Baumer India, Pratham Technologies and such more, showcased their latest products at the event.

“The show became a key sourcing point for the regional industry that was looking to invest in technology, machinery and skills development of its manpower to sustain growth,” said Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Centre Sharjah.

“This is a 1st edition of Print Pack’s Arabian shores which can be said a just born baby. While considering the fact that in  1st edition there is a footfalls of around 3000 and they are all printers, then it makes worth,” said K.S. Khurana, president of IPAMA.

“The exhibition was quite in slow mood but we enjoyed the quality crowd even with less footfalls. It became a better platform to expand our business with Indian companies.”- Dilawar Dalwai, managing director of Al Mahir Printing Equipments.
