Mimaki showed their latest machines in the SignTrade booth which is their official distributor. Marketing manager, Mike Horsten said: “We can see the MEA market is maturing in terms of technology and investments. We need to work on sublimation for textile market in the MEA which is still a solvent or flatbed market. As Mimaki we are growing in new segments like small format UV, print and cut, flatbed etc. We invest 7 to 8% of our revenue in R&D and hence launch many new products like one of the fastest textile printer, a flatbed with 60 sqm/hour and our latex offering with white option. We are also enhancing our service offerings in this region by April this year. In terms of technology we have the latest Ricoh heads on our machines,” he said.
