Epson showcased at the SGI event this year the Stylus Pro 9700, Stylus Pro 7900, Stylus Pro 11880, Stylus Pro WT7900 and Stylus Pro 4900, for the engineering scientific and display signage markets.

The Epson Stylus Pro 9700 incorporates the latest achievements of ink jet printing, combining the precision of a MicroPiezo TFP print head with the performance of UltraChrome Vivid Magenta Ink with application like production and contract proofing, as well as the quality fine-art and photographic printing.

The Stylus Pro 11880, the first 64-inch large format printer from Epson, incorporates the latest Epson Micro Piezo Thin Film Piezo (TFP) printhead and is optimised for pigment ink technology. Targeting the packaging proofing market, the Stylus Pro WT7900 is a 610mm wide printer that uses the first water-based white ink in the market. Another printer on show was Epson Stylus Pro 4900 which combines the Epson's MicroPiezo TFP print head with the performance of Epson UltraChrome HDR ink to deliver quality prints, fast print speeds, and a wide colour gamut.
