By the time drupa 2016 opens on May 31, 2016, Hewlett-Packard will be the single biggest exhibitor at Drupa.

Talking about their participation at the most awaited event this year, Ernest Azzam, Large Format Design MEMA said: “HP will be exhibiting the full range of Graphics products starting with Pagewide web presses to commercial and packaging printing solutions as well as outdoor large format printing solutions and indoor graphics and technical printers.”

HP will overtake Heidel-berg as the largest-single exhibitor at Drupa 2016, and a revamp of the exhibition’s floorplan will see the digital print giant take over an entire hall at the show.

The show has an overall message of “touch the future” with six highlight themes: Multichannel, Print, Functional Printing, 3D Printing, Package Production and Green Printing. It will take place from 31st May to 10th June 2016.

Azzam adds: “Drupa is the largest printing event in the industry. It is an opportunity to meet our customers from all over the world and understand their needs. It is also an opportunity for our customers to see the latest technologies and solutions in operation. HP has been strongly participating at Drupa for many years and in this year HP will have the largest area/stand at Drupa. This is an opportunity to showcase all of the HP portfolio that is unparalleled in the industry including commercial, packaging, photo printing, outdoor and latex printers and the new PageWide XL printers.”

Giving his opinion about the regional printing industry, Azzam explains: “We see a large shift in the industry from analogue to digital and that applies not only to commercial printing but also to packaging, rigid media and volume large format printing.”
