Konica Minolta's bizhub i-Series recently won the Good Design Award – an international design award for products such as industrial goods, architecture, software, systems, services no matter tangible or intangible, as long as it is created to fulfill certain ideals or purposes. The winning products are given a 'G' mark as a proof of the award.

According to the screening committee, the entire range of Konica Minolta's multi-functional printers has adhered to the design identity and succeeded in further refining the concept. "The operation panel with a minimum set of keys makes the series more compatible with mobile devices while improving operability through the user experience, user interface and universal design. As a result, the company has made this series more efficient and easier to use, while reinforcing its design identity. Besides, the neat arrangement of the LED indicator lamp and authentication section, and the improvements made to every detail of the exterior appearance,” commented the committee.
