Ricoh has announced that its MP CW2201SP wide format printer, designed for CAD/GIS and graphic applications is available all over Europe as well as the Middle East and Africa.

According to Ricoh, the MP CW2201SP is environmentally friendly, and is Energy Star compliant. It consumes less than 200 watts when printing and meets the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances directive).

Benoit Chatelard, vice president, production printing, Ricoh Europe, says: “With the Ricoh MP CW2201SP we are helping print service providers to easily add wide format to their existing capabilities. Now they can increase their mono volumes or deliver a cost effective mix of both mono and colour jobs. Its ease of set up and operation, combined with its productivity and quality, makes it ideal for colour graphic applications for paper media, both indoor and outdoor.”
