Digital finishing manufacturer Morgana Systems has launched the DigiFold Pro creaser/folder at Ipex.

The company said that the machine, which can handle up to 6,000 sheets per hour, will set new standards for productivity and ease of use.

As well as running creasing and folding in a single pass, it can act as a stand-alone creaser or perforator.

It uses Morgana's PosiFeed feeding system, which enables it to handle lighter papers and allow feeders to be stacked higher.

It is JDF-ready, and can perform a range of folds, handling sizes up to 780x385mm and stock to 400gsm, including laminated material.

The machine is a free-standing unit that features a vacuum-fed conveyor that can be adjusted to the height of the creaser.

Morgana's managing director Quen Baum said: "In essence, the AutoFold provides a highly efficient folding station."

Also Morgana Re-Brandsed for Ipex. The new Morgana identity is built around what Quen Baum describes as a 'Big M' which can be adapted easily for all uses from stationery and product branding to exhibition stands.
