Manufacturer of digital label and packaging equipment Colordyne has announced the addition of two aqueous pigment solutions to its 3600 Series Production Class. Colordyne debuted its 3600 Series AP - Retrofit and 3600 Series AP - Engine Kit.

“One of the biggest benefits for label converters and print providers is that the aqueous pigment inkjet works on a greater number of substrates than other water-based inkjet technologies,” said Taylor Buckthorpe, director of sales at Colordyne Technologies. “The 3600 Series AP solutions can print high-quality images on coated and uncoated substrates, as well as prime substrates in-line. This versatility makes the pigment technology cost-effective and expands the applications and markets it can be used in.”

The 3600 Series AP - Retrofit is designed to enhance label converters’ and print providers’ existing flexo presses or web handling systems with digital print capabilities.

“In addition to offering a retrofit solution, Colordyne also offers the 3600 Series AP - Engine Kit for customers looking to integrate an aqueous pigment print engine into their solutions,” said John Urban, product manager - production class at Colordyne Technologies. “Colordyne offers our integration partners quicker and lower cost engine development to get their solutions to market faster. Adopting digital technology in label, commercial, corrugate and industrial markets, among others, has never been easier than with a Colordyne print engine.”
