Jordan University in Amman recently installed a Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 52 - four-colour at its University print shop.

Officially launched by Dr. Akhalif Tarawneh, president of the University of Jordan, the press is capable of producing up to 15,000 sheets per hour. Jaradat, director of the university print shop said that the Heidelberg machine will help to complete their print jobs faster which would be helpful since there was a huge demand for printed materials from within and outside the university.

The print shop had been established in 1982 and prints educational books, publications as well as posters, leaflets, graduation certificates, certificates of appreciation, and magazines that are published by the University.
