NDigitec has completed the first phase of a large-scale headquarters and factory in Dubai Production City, as part of a two-stage construction project following rapid expansion in the UAE.

The Dubai-based company, which provides prepress, premedia, digital printing and creative production services, inaugurated its new headquarters and factory in February, as part of an ongoing expansion that aims to create dozens of new jobs within the next three years.

Vatche Kavlakian, CEO, NDigitec, said: “We’ve achieved incredible growth since we established our presence in Dubai Production City and our headcount has increased from five to over 100 people during this time. This constant growth gave us the confidence to launch our expansion strategy to build the region’s largest single-site pre-press factory and digital printing facility to accommodate our growing team, increase our market share, and prepare us for the future as we embrace artificial intelligence, augmented reality, machine learning and big data analytics. The business-friendly environment created by Dubai Production City and the UAE has enabled us to grow faster and expand to Saudi Arabia in 2009. With the first phase of our facility now complete and the second phase ongoing, I believe 2020 can be a turning point for the firm that will accelerate our plans for the next stage of sustainable growth.”

Majed Al Suwaidi, managing director of Dubai Production City, added: “Dubai is an international business hub that has attracted thousands of media professionals from around the world to the UAE and the expansion of our business partner NDigitec highlights the private sector’s confidence in Dubai’s ever-changing media landscape.”

He added: “Dubai Production City is one of three media-focused business communities alongside Dubai Media City and Dubai Studio City. Together, they provide the city, emirate and country with best-in-class facilities and infrastructure for companies across the media value chain to enjoy long-term success and organic growth. The cutting-edge printing complex built in Dubai Production City is an exciting addition to our business community of more than 255 companies and 6,000 people.”

Prior to opening its new complex in Dubai Production City, NDigitec worked across two commercial spaces in the business zone.
