With e-greetings spamming inboxes and mobile phones as the practice of sending cards is almost obsolete, a season’s greeting card from Century Printing Press arrived like a breath of fresh air.

The company's managing director CV Kurian said: “Festive seasons provide us with the opportunity to showcase our skills in value additions to print. Being a passionate printer, it’s my responsibility to keep print alive and make people feel the difference between having a card in their hands and receiving an image on their mobile phones or computers.”

“This year’s Christmas and New Year cards were printed by Komori Lithrone 420 on Cordenons 320gsm natural evolution white. We altered the colours to cyan, magenta, green and black. For the front image, we did six hot foil stampings and one on the reverse. The main attraction of the card is the embossing, giving the decor balls a spherical look,” Kurian added.
