Star Digital, one of the region’s suppliers of digital printing services invests in Kodak SONORA XP Process Free Plates to power new offset service offering.
Star Digital’s founder Joseph Stanislaus decided to diversify its portfolio to include offset printing in 2016, Stanislaus and his team made a critical decision. “We run a very efficient operation that is powered by the flexibility and speed of our digital presses. A major consideration for our move into offset was to integrate technology that will allow us to maintain an equivalent level of productivity in this new area of service for our company.”
Stanislaus commented: “When we first evaluated the SONORA Plate, we were immediately impressed by its ease of use. With no chemical processing, we don’t have to worry about managing waste, and because there is no processing step, we're able to move jobs quickly to press. The exceptional quality and consistency it delivers means that we’re able to run jobs uninterrupted and turn customer jobs around quickly and reliably.”
He further added, “We believe it’s important that the way we do business reflects the same values our customers prioritize. Many of our corporate clients emphasize the importance of incorporating sustainable business practices into their operations. As print partners to these brands, our use of SONORA Plates sends an important message that we share these same values.”
