Corrugated packaging company based in Kuwait, Caesar Pack has gone for Bobst's Mastercut 1.7. With the aim of higher speed and bigger size Caesar pack aims to increase its production capacity in food packaging market.

Talking to PrintWeek MEA, company's deputy general manager, Tamer Hozayen said: "Our 90% of jobs are from food packaging market. We already have smaller 1.6m version of die cutter. We wanted to increase our production capacity with good quality and higher speed. Bobst offered us the right technology and we did not look for other machines."

With about 2m Euro investment, Caesar pack expects to have a return of investment of about five years. The company will be shifting to much bigger facility in Kuwait within one year for increased capacity. The company exports mainly to Iraq market within the other GCC countries.

Hozayen said he was particularly interested in Masterflex HD from the recent Competence10 conference of Bobst. Caesar Pac Carton & Paper Products Co. was established in 2001 in the Kuwait Free Trade Zone. Company specialize in producing corrugated boxes, both brown and white, 5 colour printing, and die-cut boxes including micro-flutes, point of purchase and display cartons. Caesar Pac also has independent manufacturing facility for producing corrugated sheets and converts them to boxes.
