Avery Dennison film for marine use makes debut

Strings International Advertising, the official distributor of Avery Dennison in the region since 2009, recently launched Avery supreme wrapping film for  marine application in the UAE.

Naeem Siddiqui, director, Strings International, informed: “Avery supreme wrapping film was launched  about a decade ago. But its prime target was vehicles. Today, the the technology has advanced and we can offer the same film for marine application, provided it is applied to the surfaces above the water line using Avery edge sealer for perfect application.”

According to the company statement, the new film is a perfect solution for customizing personal as well as corporate fleet and yachts, with more than 100 colours on offer.

Etihad opens up 3D printing facility in Abu Dhabi

Etihad Engineering, a division of the Etihad Aviation Group dedicated to maintenance, repair and overhaul services, set up an additive manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with German 3D printer manufacturers EOS and BigRep.
