Other: Fujifilm hosts seminar on printing industry
FujiFilm & Al Madina for Advanced Technology organised a seminar on "The Future Of Printing -CTP Technology Innovations & Approaches" at the City Stars Intercontinental Hotel in Cairo.
According to the organisers, more than 150 managers, owners and representatives attended the event from a large number of Egyptian & Arab private, newspaper and government printing presses.
Ashraf Fathy, general manager in his welcome speech talked about the Al Madina growth strategy, followed by a speech given by Kazunori Saito, general manager FujiFilm Corporation - Dubai.
Among the speakers at the seminar was Wieland Schwarz, product manager Prepress Solutions FujiFilm Europe, who talked about the new generation of low-chem Fujifilm plates.
He was followed by Charlie Seccombe commercial manager FFEI -UK who spoke about the latest technology in Violet CTP and pure PDF workflow and the final speaker was Michael Millea, sales manager -Heights UK who elaborated about the company's latest innovation for violet processors in co-operation with Fujifilm (all represented in Egypt by Al Madina) during this event.
Al Madina also organised live demos for Fujifilm V6 & V8 CTP systems.
