Maxnoa, the speciality paper division of Printec LLC are the sole distributors of 100% wood free speciality papers produced by the Scottish company, Tullis Russel. The FSC certified papers are currently distributed in UAE, with plans afoot to gain distributorship for the entire Middle East.

Mazen Haj Ali, managing director, Printec L.L.C. said, "This range of specialty paper is used for a wide variety of end uses including premium packaging, cards and high profile text and cover applications."

Among the three brands acquired for distribution, the Naturalis is produced from maple pulp on a twin-wire machine, ensuring even-sidedness and improved printability, while the Advocate is a business paper ideally suited for everyday text and cover applications.

The third brand Trucard 0 is a premium quality uncoated wood free solid bleached sulfate board which is popular with customers for its stiffness and converting performance.

The papers are suitable to print corporate profiles, catalogues, newsletters, brochures, danglers, greeting cards, posters, annual reports, letterheads, business cards and miscellaneous corporate stationary according to Ali.

Printec has been distributing the speciality papers for six months now.

Adds Ali, "These papers are extra ordinary in terms of outstanding quality and are meant to complement the image and impact of user's brand equity.

"Moreover, they will add almost 40% of direct cost savings to the printers and agencies when it is compared with unjustifiably costlier speciality papers which are currently available in this market."

Other UAE based companies distributing speciality papers in the region include Mepco Gulf, Gimpex, Papers Worldwide and Orient Links.
