Huhtamaki to launch paper cup recycling scheme

Finnish company Huhtamaki has confirmed its plans to launch a new recycling initiative for used paper coffee cups in Gosport. Slated to launch early 2018, the new scheme will be the first of its kind in the country.

The Magic Touch has taken on US-headquartered Decoral’s Duraluxe aluminium product for distribution, which it says is an outdoor signage first.
Magic Touch MD Jim Nicol said that Duraluxe is the first product of its kind to be printed on using sublimation inks and be suitable for outdoor use. Graphic Packaging will create a $6 billion paper-based packaging company by forming a new partnership  with International Paper.  Graphic Packaging Holding Company will own 79.5 percent of the partnership and will be the sole operator.
