Other: Al Suwaidi Computer and HP ME puts on UAE's first Print Station

HP Middle East and Al Suwaidi Computer Co LLC has launched the first HP Print Station in Dubai.

One-stop printing shop concepts by HP Print Stations are HP branded stores. The primary focus will address small and medium enterprise customers and will cater for a wide range of printing applications. The HP Print Station in Dubai will be operated by Al Suwaidi Computer, to address a range of customer segments and demands.

Amin Mortazavi, general manager, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Middle East said: "The HP Print Station concept is being implemented in the UAE to address specific customer needs based on a country wide customer feedback HP has received recently. The other 3 three Print Stations in the Middle East with our local partners in their respective countries are Espace Bueno in Lebanon, CompuME in Egypt and NAF in Jordan. We plan to roll out additional stores in the UAE within the next year and in the region our next Print Station will most probably be in Kuwait."

Al Suwaidi Computer general manager, Shibu Das said: "This is a unique customer oriented initiative, bringing more convenience, high quality and cost effectiveness to every single audience and we are happy to be a part of that."

Jaimi Cyrus, director, channel sales and programs for HP in EMEA said: "The printing market in the UAE is growing at a rapid rate, there are now 50 HP Print Stations in 9 countries, including now 3 in the Middle-East and HP is currently planning for more. "While representing close to 9% of the total Middle Eastern printing market, the UAE is forecast to be the fastest growing market in the region with projected growth of 55% between 2007 and 2012," she said.
